MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international advancements into Latin pop culture. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was the recipient of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in 2017. In 2017, he released ADN the first of his long-players for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. In the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached no. 8. Vaina Loca, which was an album that was a Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. The group released Dopamina the chart-topping sophomore album in the following year. He also was in a duet with TINI for her viral stream song Maldita Foto. He appeared in 2023 with 2000, which featured the huge hit La Bachata. Turizo is a product of a household of music the mother of his younger brother and father are musicians. In his interviews, Turizo has declared that music is essential. He was taught how to play the guitar, saxophone Ukulele, and piano while when he was a child. He initially wanted to be a vet, but after his brother Julian encouraged him to take singing lessons from an Cuban musician, he rearranged his the direction of his career.
